Set up multifactor authentication

To set up multifactor authentication, you need to link an authenticator app. You’ll use the 6-digit code generated by the app every time you log in. The app will generate a new code after 30 seconds.

Help and support 

Our call centre can get busy sometimes. If you’re having trouble creating or logging in to your Ahpra portal, we recommend:

  • using our how-to guides
  • reading through our troubleshooting tips
  • using the chatbot in the bottom right-hand corner of our portal login page

There are times you are going to need our customer service team’s help. Get in touch if you: 

  • are stuck after following the steps and how-to videos
  • can’t reset your password
  • have deleted the authenticator app linked to your Ahpra portal
  • can’t update your email as you don’t have access to the email registered with us
  • can’t log in using the email you’re trying with
  • can’t remember the email you log in with
  • can’t see the renewal alert when you log in to your Ahpra portal when the renewal campaign has started.
